didn't get to finsh the tune this week the tuner had something to do so i have to wait til friday and i didn't even get to go to the track it was raining today but im thinking of making it ls vtec i got a guy selling me a head for cheap it is rebuilt and only has 1k miles on it or i'll buy it and keep it for my next motor

 

I think you should keep it for nice sleeved 84mm block.. lol

 

yeah i think so too i have my stock ls with 170k on it i wann send it to get sleeved and built

i went to the track last night and was not prepeaired lol its still on 13psi not fully tune my tuner cancel agian friday and will try weds or next fri but anyway i got 4 runs in but was only able to recorde the first one and the camera died aslo the first run i forgot to let out air in the drs so they had like 30psi in them lol not my best but its something the tuner was right the power band sucks till he finshs tuning it

*EDIT* Also man dont worry about having a shitty time. We all start somewhere, your car has more in it. I ran a 14.0 at 110mph my first day at the track on 15psi

lol i didn't cut the video carmea died it wasd 1/8 not 1/4 theres no times they just started racing drag there its a nascar track and were racing in the pit they say when a bigger crowd come there gonna make 1/4 mile and light and times its five min from my house so i go there fridays and tonight im gonna try to make it up north to countyline there they have times and light but its also a 1/8 mile

 

what is that link? i also forgot theres a guy there that video tapes every friday i seen him there last night and he post them on youtube so he'll have other runs which 2 out of the 4 i missed a gear my first and last race were my best runs i have to bleed the clutvh it had a big leak that went away so i never changed anything when i got the car semi tuned i would try to power shift into second and it would go my friend told me if you do bleed the clutch good at high rpms it wont go into gear so i went a bought a clutch slave and it help but i need to bleed some more the pedal has a lot of play

Man everything looks good. I can't wait till you do the high boost tune. I have been showing a lot of people your build. I should have mine finished in about two months. My setup might be going into a dc like yours.

 

thanks bro i cait wait to see yours lol 700hp i got a appoinment on monday to finsh the tune hopefully no problems come up this weekend im gonna go to countyline where they have time slips still 1/8th of mile but i wanna see the differece in times now and when the tune is finshed

 

got out to the track yesterday athough it rained they finally got lights and times best run i did was 8.9 i broght my camera but forgot the cd lol but the guy that always video tapes got video he said he will have it posted by tuesday i will post it when its done

 

i went to the dyno yesterday she broke up up top agian we switch to # 8 instead of number 7 plugs she cleared up a little better we switch spark plug cable and she cleared right up she made 382 at 19psi we went to 22-23 psi to break 400 and she started to break up agian so i left her at 382 im gonna buy an igintion and it should clear her up we also install boost by gear and a 2 step i didn't get video but i do have a dyno sheet and you can see a big differece in the power band i will post soon

Do you have a dyno comparing the power to rpms?

 

no at the bottem it showed speeds but my scanner didn't get that part i know he reved to 8500
