Thanks man and yeah. I was supposed to get it tuned tuesday but now I got more important things to take care of.

 

That will buff right out. Doest look like the quarter panels folded. Some frame work and shell be back on the road?

 

Damn bro that really sucks , def just throw it on a frame machine and straighten her back out and new bumper and you'd be good to go..

Depends, what you have it insured at. Needs a pull and a new rear body panel and deck lid from what I can see without it being tore down.

 

i have full coverage but it is not my fault it was hers, and i get it looked at tomorrow.

With the way the economy is going, insurance companies are less likely to total vehicles if they can still be repaired. It will depend on cost of repair vs. cost to replace the car. If its not effective for them to fix it then they will total it. Also frame damage comes into play and they could make it salvage if its deemed unsafe.

 

If they total it. Buy her back for dirt cheap. Buy another clean tittle shell. swap everything over. sell old shell to scrap yard.

Oh and dont settle for a penny less. Bring as much paper proof as you can find. Look up on CL or ebay or other car selling places and see how much ure car is worth. Look up KBB etc etc.

Damn man that sucks!! I just checked in to see the status of this and this is what I find? I damn near got T-Boned last friday night, dude ran a redlight right in front of a cop, nearly hit my passenger side where my wife was sitting and son was sleeping in car seat in rear. Cop pulled the dude over, hopefully he got a nice ticket for being an asshat.

I am gonna say thats totaled. I have had 3 car's totaled out with less damage. The cost of repairing is way more then cost of car. Wait til you see quotes from body shops, you'll **** yourself. Best bet if they do total it, is to buy it back and swap everything over to new shell. Then part out the rest and make some money back to buy more parts

 

Wahh, that's not what I wanted to hear. Idk I hope they don't total it I have so much time into the car and i mean just the car brake lines gutted things etc. I hope the do not total it or I'm just gonna sell everything and prob jump into a miata or something. :p But I rather not this was my baby. but well see I guess. I will be taking it to some places within the week so I hope it will live.

 

My EF had a dented fender and busted headlight and they totaled it...
My explorer had bent frame...totaled
My AE86 had rear pushed in less then yours looks to be and totaled...

Dad's old CRX got pushed in like yours...totaled

Good news is the EF and CRX were bought back for under $400, so you could get it back, part it out, swap to another car or put it back together

just to let everyone know too, i have some pics of the car all done and shined up on the previous page, just not these wrecked ones...

 

does anyone know where i can find a whole rear body panel the panel that the taillights and everything bolt onto and the hatch latches too? Because if they total it I'll probably ending up fixing it.
