my hks ssqv won't blow off please help!
so i took my newly boosted car out for the first time to give it a bath 1993 coupe D16Z6, UNTUNED! not revving passed 3-3500 RPM on the way to my house, and no BOV sound. I have the BOV tee'd off from my FPR and the internal wastegate from my Greddy 18G vacuum behind my intake manifold where the evap sensor is. my HKS SSQV isn't so much as making a peep, i know i can't expect a loud BOV sound only revving to 3500 but not so much as a peep? where is all the pressure going? do i need to adjust the bolt on the back of the BOV? I'm new to this so forgive my ignorance.

do you have a boost gauge? is the the turbo actually even spooling up and creating positive pressure at that rpm? if not then there is no pressure for the bov to release.
get the car tuned, im sure you will hear it a bunch while its on the dyno.

gotcha, yea i've tried every possible vacuum source on the mani and nothing..i don't have the boost gauge yet either..i installed everything else and just drove it home to wash it...also how bad is it for me to drive untuned not revving passed 3500?? i wish to drive the car like this just curious.

you should really get a boost gauge to really see if your hitting boost at that rpm. because without the tune your car might not even be hitting boost level
