My fuel system setup!!

aeromotive a1000 fuel pump $309.95
aeromotive fuel filter $99.95
aeromotive FUEL REGULATOR $139.95
AEM FUEL RAIL $134.95
= $684.80
waiting to get the stuff and i`ll buy the rc 1200cc next week</TD></TR></TABLE>
You are going to have to add more then that if you are gonna run the A-1000. You are going to need custom fuel lines for that pump and you need to either sump the tank or get a puller pump to feed the A-1000. Honestly I think you should have just got the walbro (with re-wire) and saved yourself ALLOT of headaches.
Next time try looking in the classifieds. You could have found some of those parts for much better prices.

I dont see the point in running a 100 dollar filter, when a 10 dollar one is gonna do the same with the same flow. Granted its not gonna have an anodized body, but whos looking under the car.
Heres my setup:
MSD 2225 fuelpump, Ford Escort fuel filter, JAZ fuel cell, Bosch 390CC/min injectors, DIY fuel rail from aluminium stock, malpassi fuel regulator.
No AN fittings or steel braided lines. Hoses, clamps, copper tubing ftw. Cost a fraction of some of the setups here, but it'll function just as same

in some cases a 100$ filter is not necessary.
but for the power i want to make, i need volume. and youe 5/16 in /out (maybe 3/8 in/out) escort filter isnt going to do it.
the filter is not cheap yes, but it is 100% serviceable, and 100% cleanable. pleated and flows the best.
power can be made with the stock filter too. it is also more cost effective putting an inline such as the peterson(in my case) or the aeromotive or comprable filter.
to ask on your setup, is your line nhra approved or just shelf fuel line? most of us race and the fuel line needs to pass tech.

The filter has 8mm barbs... dunno whats that in inches
But yeah, I'm running about 200-250hp
As for passing tech, no worries here. I dont live in the USA, so the rules are a bit different. Basic rules are fuel lines cant run inside the passenger compartment, or they have to be protected and that the connections are secure.

8mm is 5/16. thats no where near enough for the power i want to make. and im not shooting for 1000whp he hee. i made 540 on stock lines to a stock filter with -6 from the filter to the rail.
