People seem to like Aeromotive fuel pressure reg's around here.

Also, the fuel rail, and filter, are probably not necessary.

well, if you are goin for that whp, a walbro will fall off at that point or just a little behind there. some tuners can ge more.

In My Oppinion, AEM stuff isnt the greatest. i have a mis matched stuff.
vortech rail, aeromotive reg, walbro pump, and 1200's.

I DONT LIKE THE AEM REG for the past failures and i have no faith in them. i am basing that on past exp they may have fixed it, but it cost a friend his engine.

my new setup is overkill for you, but i am done buying fuel pumps.
weldon db2015a
aeromotive reg
vortech rail
peterson filter
-12 and -8 lines.
-12 to the pump -10 to the filter -8 to the front, stock feed as return.

oh yeah i made 540 whp on a stock fuel filter.\

here is a crappy phone pic of the pump setup:

I hope Aeromotive fixed their leaking diaphragm... I was not a happy camper seeing two of the Aeromotive units leak when you start cranking adjustment screw down for more fuel pressure.

In my book, no problems with AEM's, over the 10+ units I've purchased for my own personal cars and my customers' It was both the Honda specific one and the universal regulator.

the optimizer is identical to the b and m command flow. JUNK.
and my reg has been fine for 4 years.
1000's will get you 650 ish, or if you want to grow, get 1200's.

if you go with the vortech rail, you may have space issues with the rail mounted reg, the 13109 is the same reg i have. youll be fine with that. if you use the vortech rail, you will need a 12mm x 1.25 for the filter with a -6 on it, 2 x -6 straight o-ringed pipe fittings, and how ever you decided to mount the reg, the fittings on the reg are -6 straight o-ringed pipe too.

Just get adapter that rotates the fpr from jackson racing. I don't remember how much it was, somethin like $20. Call em' and they can tell you exactly. I had to do the exact same thing as I have an aem fpr and victor x im.

most without the filter up top, have one below.
do not not run a filter. you atleast nees a 100 micron filter. i was told to run a 40 micron pre but was also told thats like running a marathon with your hand over your mouth.

but a 100 micron post filter is necessary.

i guess as long as you filter your fuel from the drum to the jug, then jug to car i guess it is ok.
