My Fuel system
cool. thanks art.
I only plan on running SS lines between the filter-rail-FPR, how should I hook up my return line to the -6 outlet on the FPR ? is there a -6 to barb fitting or something ?

yes, earls part # 701061 will work.
It wants 3/8" hose ID though so it might be hard to fit the stock return line over it...
Instead:
I would get a -6 to -4 reducer (part # 991906) and an -6 an O-ring (part # 176006)
Then I would use a -4an super stock hose end (part # 701041) to connect to the stock return line...

Dustin, Art, question about the part numbers? are the part numbers the same everywhere? like say if i want to order the parts at a local NAPA store and i gave them the part numbers will they be able to pull this up or do i have to order it from the same people you ordered it from? by the way fuel system looks good

dustin, what do you think i should use to connect the stock fuel line to my fuel rail?
i have an str fuel rail: -8an on both sides and a paxton fpr: -10an ports and
-6an return line. i'm going to use -8an ss line to go from the fuel rail to the fpr, and the appropriate union reducers, etc. that part i have figured out. but how do i connect the stock fuel line to the other side of the rail?
OR (if this is a better solution)
if i run ss line form the filter to the rail, what fittings would i use for that?...since i am keepign the stock filter for now...
thanks,
greg
p.s. your fuel system looks like a worj of art. you are the man. great job

downpipe, if you want to do a ss line from the fiter, Im assuming its a stock fuel filter, you can use a 12mmX1.25 to -8 fitting, -8 180deg. swivel fitting, a -8 45deg swivel fitting, -8 to -8 union fitting to connect to the rail. Im not sure if STR came with fittings, but I dont think so..

This may be a dumb question since I don't have a helms yet. But just out of curiousity, where does the stock return line go back into the tank at? I noticed you made a new hole for the return, is that right?
Looks great by the way.

art,
maybe i am picturing it wrong in my head, but wouldn't a 90 deg. fitting work better off the filter?
and thanks!

greg
i can't find it either.
what abotu my other option?
does anyone know the size of the stock fuel line post-filter? what fitting would i put on the end of that?

good job Dustin!
as far as cost goes, the most expensive part is all the braided line... you could just use regular line to save cash, like dustin did on his return.. the steel braid is mainly for the bling factor (although it does help with the strength of the line a little)...
each of the fitings is around $4 you need around 20 ft of fuel line and 20 ft of return...
I duno how much that aeromotive filter costs, but the rest of the stuf (-minus pump and filter) is prolly around $75 with regular ugly black line.. prolly closer to $150 with braided..
on one of my friends supras we did braided in the engine bay and black under the car.. looked sweet, but saved a lot of money!

p.s. that braided line is a bitch to work with.. I remember bleeding several times on the last fuel system I did

Art, thats what i am trying to get...the fitting on top of the stock fuel filter is a
12 x 1.25 -6 adapter that im gonna connect to a 150 degree -6 elbow! whats the part number for that adapter?
and for the return line from the FPR, i know i need 9/16-18 adapter, i already found a -6 straight socketless fitting but im not sure if they have one that can fit the 1/4" hose the stock return line uses...any help on that?
