Good job Nailor. (That's the last time you'll hear me say that. ) If I'm honest, I never thought it would come this far, as did half of Chesterfield. Glad you saw it through.

FYI: not sure what size your IC pipes are, but I have some 2.5" leak testers if you want to test the system. You might want to add a little intake to the turbo and pump it up with air when you do the test to accommodate for the compressor housing as well. Are you really gonna be beating on it going to a meet? As a side note I hear those green filters have metal bracing and don't collapse

Okay, noob question incoming, does this have to do with the power and size of the turbo? This is truly the first time I've read about someone being concerned with the turbo sucking up a filter. I have a K&N Filter right now. And I was planning on transfering it to my turbo when I put it on.

Thanks tim tim. You coming out tonight?

Ballistic, I just dont want to stand a chance ya know?

TheShodan I heard the same thing.

Freeman- Ive seen even ebay turbos, 57trim, standard t3t4s suck up those ebay filters, or advanced filters. Ive heard really good things about the k&n you should be fine.

Not necessarily, but the larger the physical size of the turbocharger and its boost pressure level, the more likely it is to happen. When a turbo is reaching a good level of efficient boost pressure within its range, its literally like a tornado ingesting anything physical in its path. I've seen people lose fingers even at engine idle because their hand is too close to the inlet .

Thanks for sharing. What turbo do you have?

So your goal was 750whp but you only had 1150cc?

With 600whp at 19psi gsr cams what was your fuel pressure and injector duty at?

I have a ff manifold too. I use a large k&n filter on the street and a vs with custom screen for rr and drag. Works well.

Yeah, I've definitely read enough about eBay items to stay away from it. I see no reason to cheap out on an air filter. It's a one time thing, they are reusable or washable or whatever the term is. I'll have to double check the condition of my filter, but it should be good.

Yes the original goal was anything over 700, I am using a s300/366sx (borg warner), Originally had bosch 1200cc injectors , the resistor box failed on the dyno and I bought some FIC 1000's from treblic. I was at 589 on 19 psi, around mid 90% duty cycle on the injectors with using the 40-45 psi base fuel pressure. My boschs were not wired in correctly, so if you tried to raise fuel pressure it continued to pop the ACG fuse. I made an appointment to go back DEC 6th, and have all the issues squared away.
