I have a PLX M300, I love it. I made a harness so I can take it out to tune cars. It has a nice display.

yeah i consider my PLX one of my most prized possesions... its small enough to mount anywhere plus it has a nice big display. its pretty reasonable too $$. Ive been having a hard time getting Uberdata to datalogg for me so at times i wish i would have gotten the datalogging version PLX.

i'm probably gonna get some drag radials to play with... yeah i've been itching to take my car out and really romp on it but the streets have been too wet.

Whats wrong with your datalogging? If you use version 1.70 not 1.7 that might help you. Not sure what version you stated before.

there ya go. You need that one. It is the best version. Should've checked up on that, but I see you are on uberdata all the time anyway. So that should help.

Alright man. It really pissed me off too. My first attempt I had it working great and then changed back to 1.66 (opps) I forgot and couldnt' get it to datalog. So I asked around and found out that I was being stupid, and was using the wrong version, I completely forgot about it. Because that was the last possible option. 3 ECUs, 2 Laptops and 2 cables can't be bad. LoL. Let me know how it goes. My AIM is uncgolf25 if you have that.

looks clean! what size turbo are you running?
yeah... i was asking about your time b/c 2 of my cousins thought it was a waste of money and time to boost a single cam... they bet me and my little bro $200 that my car will never run under a 13.99 in the spring. Its gonna be sad when i have to take family's money. i'm gonna be dissapointed if i don't hit 13.5.

</TD></TR></TABLE>

ahha.. meng.. just look at my old coupe.. 13.3@106.. z6 turbo with 18g and like a 2" crush bent dp with a 2.25 exhaust.. i dont think you'll have any problem.. so anyways.. u wanna tune my car when im done? im selling my motor and going back to a z6 turbo..

thanks! yeah, i might have to go that route b/c i still can't get datalogging to work right. ive tried like 3 differnent cables and still no luck. i suspect its a laptop issue. Its ok though... i one day figure it out, my cars tuned out real nice right now...

Looks really nice!

Very similar setup to what I'm running.... very similar...

What are you doing about air filtration?

I am running a screen right now just like you are... but I just ordered a UNI motorcycle filter that's 4 inches long, and should fit between my turbo and the frame...

Are you planning on any kind of filter system? If so, what are you going to do?

yeah i'm just running a screen right now... i just ordered a cheap filter from ebay that has a 2.5" neck. That was the hard part about finding a filter locally, finding one with a 2.5" coupler.

Damn i definitely couldn't run a homemade setup as clean as that. You definitely took your time to find out/research/make the kit, and it really shows. Real clean man, hope you get your goal when you hit the track.

hey... you can find alot of the parts needed from online sponsors, forum classifieds, and Ebay. once you get the core parts, turbo, intercooler, wastegate, then you can start collecting all the misc parts, flanges, down pipe material, charge pipe material and what-not...
I would recomend
kteller8 from this site
apt.com
tunertoys.com
homemadeturbo.com

you can pm me with any specific Qs you might have...
good luck

thanks man...! yeah I knew that i wanted all new stuff so it took a long time saving and collecting the best parts i could afford. So i just did a bunch of reading and seeing what other people are doing and whats working best while i was waiting for the parts. i'm pretty confident i'll at least hit or break my goal sometime this summer.
