my boosted integra
well i stripped this car down bare and did a repaint and put a built motor and turbo kit in it
specs
95 ls special edition
t3/t4 60trim stage 5 wheel
cast mani
3"dp
3" cat back
buddy club 3+ cams
aebs intake manifold
b16 head lightly ported
b16 block with 81.5mm cp pistons/eagle rods
750cc rc injectors
neptune rtp
walbro 255
got it street tuned today by j-k tuning the only weird thing was vtec had to be set at 6200 rpm , has anyone else had to have vtec engage that high with their setup?
hoping to get it dynoed as soon as the shop gets it in
street tuned on 6 lbs but i have mac valve to tune for boost by gear using rtp
and a picture of the car

ya more boost when i get it dyno tuned, it feels pretty good right now, a little bit faster then my built turbo ls i used to have
and b16 was cheap available and it was cheap haha, goal is 400whp daily and i dont see why the b16 wont be able to do it

Re: (blwn95civic)
maybe I missed something, was it dynoed? how much powah?
nice kill on the wrx, but remember they have serious rotational drag up top with the AWD, and the weight.
I remember beating an STI at the track in my turbo b13 SE-R.........of course, he had me until the 1/8 when I walked past him, lol.
nice setup!

Actually on this setup, it was pretty easy to tell where it needed to be. Any lower and it would fall on its face really hard.
Once it is under some more boost, I am sure vtec can be moved down a bit.

I have a 1994 with a b16a2 in it currently as well. It isn't nearly as bad as I had anticipated. I also have a GSR transmission instead of a b16 and it feels just fine. The car originally had a b18b and it was definately faster with the b16. Have fun and keep us posted on your progress.

Re: (91redteg)
ya i wasnt sure how i would like it at first either, but i actually like the possibitity of great gas mileage plus not worrying about revving the **** out of it to make the power

Re: my boosted integra (sleeper04)
Maybe it likes the higher VTEC RPM because of the BC 3+'s?? I know my setup seemed to like the higher VTEC engagement and I only have Type R cams. BTW, nice setup.

thanks, i guess the dyno will tell the true story on how these cams perform
