Default multiple BOV's

I ahve seen several cars now that have 2 BOV's. I also have heard that he limit for the HKS supersequantal is around 450 horwepower. My engine is still being assembled but when tuned I have a very strong idea it will be a good bit over the 450 rating. While the piping is of it would be nothing to tig another flange on there and add another BOV. What is everyones take on this

You could try it,... How many pounds of boost are you planning on running?

I ran 22 psi on the old smaller motor. This new one i hope to push it up to 26ish if I ever get it together.

HKS racing, Apex Racing, Greddy Type R and Sard racing all flow about the same. All are good for hi boost/hi hp but low boost springs are available for all.

Boost Pressure is what will determine a BOV's capability, the manufacturer probably knows the max PSI their BOV will handle.

I was thinking the 2 super sequantils because I already have one and they are only like 180 bucks. I have had no complaints with them and they seem to work good at high and low boost which is great because I switch often with my profec. Just out of curiousity will the Tial or any other BOV use the same flange as the HKS SS.

s your point?

Boosted3g,
I dont think 2 BOV's would become a necessity until about 20 or 40 PSI depending on the manufacturer. but it would be col to hear 2 BOV's.

zzzzzzzzzzzz *pshh* *pshh* zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz *pshh* *pshh*zzzzz

Yeah it would probably soubnd good but I dont want to go overkill and do more harm than good. I will definantly run over 20psi but I dont know how far. I will have to see how the engine responds. Im planning for around 25psi.

Actually that supra has 2 turbos and a 1 into 2 intake pipe. The intake splits into 2 then each end attaches to the repective turbo. Those 2 BOV's are on the single intake portion.

Oh ok then, the picture wouldn't load up on my computer so I just assumed it was stock or something.

boosted3g,
why do you say it would do harm? true that 2 BOVs might not be necessary but if any thing the 2 BOV's would just release the compressed air faster when the throttle slams shut.

Both BOV would sound at the same time, they are actuated by a change in intake atmosphere. There is only one engine in the supra right?
