Default msd knock alert anyone experience?

I've heard it will pick up mechanical noise as well and register that. It should still be better than nothing. J&S has a built in filter on their timing master. Its a few more bucks but if for someone with an 11 second car like yourself I don't think the cost difference would really matter.

John at J&S said that it was a piece of garbage. He had no reason to lie to me either as I've worked closely with him over the past few years and I already owned multiple Safeguard units.
