Just wondering if anyone has used this thing to get more out of their fuel pump, and what people think of it. I guess my question is primarily about the reliability. How reliable is the controller itself, and how reliable is the pump with increased voltage being sent to it? My feeling is that it would be fine, after all, it only picks up the voltage under boost, and what % of the time are you boosting? I would bet you could get another 30% out of a walbro with this, enough to get 600whp on e85. (And yes, I know 2 walbros is still cheaper, but that's not what I'm asking)

If this is an intank pump, I do not see it working do to the bypass openning in the pump. But unless someone tries it, it is just a thought

No..that is not what I mean..or what would happen. You wouldn't use this to increase your fuel press to above normal levels, despite the incredibly stupid advertisement on the msd page. The regulator determines the fuel press, unless your pump is moving so much fuel that it can't return enough of it even when fully open..but I'm just talking about using this thing to compensate for a slightly too small pump. (ie, only raise the press when it falls off due to the too small pump)The bypass in the pump is just a safety thing, your fuel press shouldn't get up to 80 psi or whatever it opens at, unless you're running an insane level of boost.
