Default fuel pump question

I was wondering if different brand fuel pumps would pump different amounts of fuel? Or do they simply provide as instructed (by the ECU)?
We can assume the fuel pump I will purchase will have a great capacity.

TIA!~

The company that makes the pump should say the flow capacity of the pump.

He's right I believe. Fule pumps deliver a static volume of fuel, unless you can find some way to adjust the voltage going to the pump.

i have the capacity part taken care of. what i am basically asking is... i have a fuel pump that has gone bad and want to change the brand. will i have to re-tune (if it's going to pump differently)? of course i will make sure the pump i buy is equivalent or greater capacity.
