msd digital six ignition two step rev limiter
Does anyone know how to use the two step rev limiter function on the digital six ignition? Is there anything else i need to buy? I want to use it for the track to build boost off the line.

all you do is put a push button switch inline with that i think its the pink wire and power and when the button is pushed and completes the circuit the 2step is activated and when let go the circuit is broken it deactivates.
i could be wrong on the wire though its been a few yeasrs since i did mine , it was either pink or light blue

a push button from radio shack will work fine. just wire it in and pick the RPM on the side of the box with the dials. for street tires i was setting mine at like 4-5k depends on track coniditons. slicks i was jumping it up to like 7k+ again depends on track conditions

you actually might want to rig a micro switch to you clutch if you have a manual because i have one also and its a big help not having to hold a switch or flip one at the light

Hey how do i set that up? Would it affect anything in between shifts when it get pressed? how much will it cost me to set up the two step function since I already have the msd digital six ignition?

like under $20.. why would you 2 step between shifts? well if u set it at say 3500rpm and you shift.. it wont let you go past 3500rpm... ok.. hook the pink wire up to one part of the switch.. the other connector use a 12v... maybe from the radio... so just get some female connectors and some wire and you're all set

You have Hondata....use their launch Control. I believe they also have a two-step.
and for the MSD, you don't need a switch. You can buy the digital LED controller that MSD makes is sweet, part # PN 7550. I am pretty sure this controller takes the place of a lap top, so you can change settings without going in the engine bay and playing with the dials. and its very user friendly! (easy to use)
