Is yours a full-race t67 or a Precision?

30psi of efficient boost... nice, very nice.
how streetable would that be? i'm assuming it would take until about 4+ grand to spool that... am i in the ballpark area here?

I think you have to wrong idea of a street turbo and strip turbo banged into your head on HT. In my opinion, a street turbo should spool up late as to get you more grip for when playing around on the street. what good is smoke when the turbo hits a 2500grand. think about it... You can spin through fiirst gear NA, why would you want 200 hp in 1st at 2500, cuz it looks cool on a dyno. fast spoolin turbos belong at the strip when attacthed to some slick that can handle that massive power. do you agree or not. If not keep spinning down the street if you like( you are only at 2500grand once when racing so your rev's typically never drop pass 6000 grand for vtec model engines.
just thought I'd share
also I am going to be running this turbo also in teh summer. stock bore and everything. Hopefully will spool around 5500 to 6000 grand and pull like a **** according to fullrace dyno plot awhile ago with 420 on pump gas with 13psi and a e- cutout. I will never see boost until I want to see boost.

yeah i didn't think of it like that and i see your point. for me i plan to have two maps, one for stret and one for strip, each with it's respective boost levels so that wouldn't be as much of an issue but i see why it would be beneficial to you for your setup.
all in all, that thing is HOT... one day hopefully i can afford one.

Man I envy you foreal because you have two cars. I wanted to have a project car and a car to drive to work but I couldn't afford it. How does your beater run? do you have a/c or anything else to make it comfy. How good is it one gas? all I need is a nice stereo system foreally.

Re: (tygsr)
Welcome to the club I got my PT67 summer of last year and I'm finally getting close to actually putting my motor together. I will also be looking for 30-32psi at the track and around 20 on the street.
Edit: good luck

It just so happens that that is not the case.
On the strip you are able to run a bigger turbo with more lag because the conditions are always the same. You luanch the car from a stop on a sticky surface, you rev it up to 7-8k on slicks, every gear the revs stay between 6-9k, etc etc...
On the street, the conditions are always changing and for this reason you want a broad powerband. Someone may catch you from a 30mph roll where your rev's are not big turbo friendly, a quick spooling turbo would allow you to race from that punch. From a stop on street tires you can really only luanch at about 3500rpm's.. If you don't get boost until 6k you are going to be getting drug so hard by the time you hit boost it won't matter how big your turbo is..
Sure, 2500rpm's is a little early, but thats an irrelative scenario. No turbo that spools by 2500 on a honda is going to make tire roasting power anyways.. A PT67 will not work good on the street for street racing from a stop or for racing from various speeds of roll-ons. About the only thing it would be good for in street racing is top end highway pulls. and no matter what anyone says lag DOES NOT get you traction!
