Guys,

I was wondering if i can unhook my 6al and leave in the blaster ss coil in? Will my car work fine? i dont want to put in my stock coil again....i'm doing this because of smog

 

no, the blaster needs power from the 6al and it will not fire. one thing u can do is get a new distributor and swap it out, u can leave all ur ignition system intact. i wouldnt see how an ignition sytem would interfere with smog?

 

ok thanks...the 6al is illegal in my odb2 car the 6a is carb legal though...
