Default moving internal wastegate...

no luck with search.

i have a bmc race adapter plate w/ STD manifold and saab t3. as we all know the internal gate runs into the block. is it possible to cut down the mount that the internal gate uses and mount it in the same spot, aslong as the arm is fully extended and flapper is closed? therefore hopefully keeping my internal wastegate.

or are there other methods?

I have a internal wastegate on my turbo teg and had the same prob, the wastegate was hitting the block so what i did was cut the bracket that holds the wastegate to the turbo, measured, cut, and welded it back together and it looks great and works perfect ;-)
