Default To move to 3" exhaust or not to...that is the question.

My setup: semi built gsr, 12lbs of boost, possibly upping to 14 ish...

running 2.5" dp, 2.5" down to an apexi N1 catback...

The car is really stout now, but I am considering a 3" DP and 3" a few feet back and then dumping it somewhere (dunno where yet)....no emissions to worry about.

Can anyone give me a general estimate of power (whether or not it's worth it)... I am researching now, but no luck thus far.

You may gain a few horses...but your turbo will spool alot quicker...

i went from a 2.25 inch to 3 and noticed a nice jump in power and spool.

if you can deal with the noise, i say do it.

why not go w/ a 3 in down pip and an E-cutout. so you dont get pulled for no exhaust. But other than that, you should feel a NICE gain.

+2psi, 2.5 DP to a 3inDP 3IN dump exhaust.... should give you a VERY nice gain. good luck.

Thanks, thats what I was hoping to hear. I may do an ecut later, but for now I'm going the cheaper way...and it's only a weekend car, so i'll just deal with the cops around here, they'll all screw-ups anyway.
