Motorswap vs. motorbuild for INTEGRA TURBO???
Hey guys,
i have a 1995 integra LS with a t3/t4 turbo.
I've noticed that the rings are leaking and i'm getting a shitload of blow by. I'm thinking if i should go with a DC GS-R (B18c1) motor or just rebuild the LS...i have about $5500 to play with. Any suggestions? TIA.

I would rebuild the B18B motor. You'll be great for the long run if you sleeve and fully build the motor. If you get a B18C it'll just be a matter of time til the rings landings crack. Plus, you never know what the condition of the motor is in when you buy a used mootor. You might end up needing to rebuild that then and it might be over your budget.

I agree, rebuild the motor you have. You never know what you are getting when you buy a used motor.

I would search around here and look over other people's setups. That's the best way to get ideas.

You'd end up waaaaaay better off by race building that B18b for the same cost of the stock B18C1 which'll just blow eventually.
