Motor Mounts for Boost!
Boosted semi daily car I want to know if its worth saving and buying a generic or yonaka mount vs avid racing or hasport?
Max hp is 350 and yonaka has a lifetime warranty, for 99$ to replace my torn stock mount it sounds good?
If its a dramatically better route to use hasports ill use them, I like saving cash tho

Re: Motor Mounts for Boost!
Hasport mounts definitely won't save you cash. They're the most expensive of all the mount companies. Avid engine mounts leave a lot to be desired, I bought two (2) sets and can't see myself buying from Avid again. My mounts were for 96-00 ek and the tranny mount holes were off. How slack must you be to send mounts out of your factory with the bolt holes not matching up, absolute ****. Also I had to pry the engine to get the mounts to fit, almost as if they were too thick or something.
Innovative mounts fit great. I've installed like five (5) sets of innovative and they fit right every time with minimal effort. Absolutely no prying of the engine. Here's where it get's hairy, the last set of innovative mounts I installed were red 60a shure. Within two (2) weeks, the urethane sagged and I had to order the 75a stiffness. I did some research and a couple guys on s2k forum said the same thing. They had sagging with the 60a grade. My advice to you would be to get the Innovative mounts because they are great quality and fit right, but I'd also get the 75a grade and be done with it.

Yonaka mounts I looked with no luck! 99$ poly mounts lifetime warranty. Or stock or drop the 2-300 or hasports.
All I've read is yonaka fits great but mostly used for stock mild builds.

I have had HASPORT's for 4 years now with absolutely no complaints! After years of wheel hopping action from lack of traction bars I tore the urethane on my rear mount. Now they are lifetime warranty but you have to send the whole mount to them, I said **** that I don't have time. I ordered all new 70A for $30 to replace the 62A. Spent a few hours replacing them and the other 2 mounts look brand new. If it weren't for the wheel hop over years abusing the rear mount I have no doubts it would look perfect too. Even for the $400 they used to be, I have absolutely no doubt in my mind I made the right decision. I find it crazy that people won't spend the now $300 on the best mounts in the business.

Ahmmmm from what I'm seeing they all do the same job but hasports or innovative will outlast. If I go with a built block they really need to handle a beating so I'm leaning more towards something decent and hasports will hold a value anyway.
We shall see what ends up going on there. Not my fault my hours suck, can't put another 2 grand in and start really ripping tires lol
