i know u said u retarded it .7deg/psi but what was the actual timing value @ 15psi?
Distributor timing is stock.
When i took the plugs out and look down, there is a little bit of oil on top of all the pistons. And i have a little bit of white smoke out the exhaust when i floor it to 4k rpms and at idle.
Its weird cause my car seems to drive just fine, and the idle seems normal now.

Was this all after ur car spiked to 25psi? do u think that could have anything to do w/ all this? on the timing values they don't look too aggressive. 24deg @ 1 bar is borderline aggressive on pump. Ur map must have had some advance in it because w/ .7deg/lb u should have been @ around 20-21deg off a stock timing map.

Dude, looking at your ignition map again, at -.55 psi from 5000 rpms + you're about 5 degrees advanced over stock SI timing.....
I hope you didnt retard the timing .7 degrees according to those figures

what management are u using? my timing is around 22-23 on 1 bar, and i havent taken it past that and decreases as my boost increase.
btw, i dont need a stock gasket.... All parts will be posted next week as soon as i get them taken off(wow thats gonna be fun

What pissed me off was i was datalogging that run, and i forgot to put knock into the parameters to be datalogged. So i didnt get to see if i was getting knock.

Its another block, its a benson sleeved sir2 block. I didnt get to use your block, its just sitting in my garage.
btw, how much did you sell your car for?I'm still thinking about selling the car. I'll let you guys know what happens. Either way, i still have to change the head gasket whether i keep the car or not.

UPDATE:
Took the motor out tonight and broke it down. Take the head off and is covered with oil. Examine the pistons in the cylinder walls and notice a chunk of piston gone. This was in cylinder 3,4. Well its a good thing i got outta this ****.
BTW: Went to jail last night for racing my friends stock crx. We were both stock and hardly even raced. ticketed and jailed for racing and speeding. ******* great

Obviously timing is going to be the big deal here, so what is recommended? 1 degree retard per psi sounds ridiculous, I was fine on stock timing at 7 psi.
