Default Missing Link? Greddy blue box

I'll be installing a greddy turbo kit including the "blue box" on my 99 gsr motor and I was wondering if I will need the "missing link" or if the blue box will handle any unwanted cel's. Thanks in advance.

Yea no missing link. Are you running the 310cc injectors too? It's gonna be hella rich.

Just got my car running today and had a chance to drive it a bit. I am running 310's and yeah I know it's gonna be rich, I'm hoping to pick up the new hondata within the next month and tune out a little more power. I'm getting a check engine light if I get up towards redline 7800 rpms...somewhere in there. Then if I shut the car off and start up again it goes away. I was told that I may need a check valve? Can anyone shed some light on this issue?

Stay away from the blue box of death. You'll do better with a msd btm, a missing link, and a vfac.

you don't need a check valve if ur running blue box. you may need to turn ur fuel pressure down a tad bid if ur running those injectors tho. with stock fuel press and 310s and a walbro 255 i had a terrible idle. blue box of death? damn then i must be immortal. i think its a good low boost solution over an fmu if installed properly. blue box, 310s, walbro, aem fpr, 1 colder plugs at 6-7 psi on my sohc and i've never had any CELs or detonation. of course rite now i'm prob running rich as hell until i get on the dyno

No missing link needed if your running the blue box. The blue box alters the readout of the MAP sensor.

Thanks for the info. Colder plugs are on the way and I'll probably pick up a fuel pressure regulator.
