Ok I just got my turbo installed! I started up the car today and it seems to be idleing funny.
I haven't driven it, but when im in the garage, I rev it to like 2500rpm's and when It comes back down to idle it almost wants to die. But when I take out the missing link and use just the map sensor its fine. Is this normal, do you have to break in the missing link or something? BTW the check engine light is on too.(but i think its the o2 sensor on the cat cause i dont have the downpipe on the cat yet.)
Any Ideas?
-thanks

The car will go into limp mode if that map sensor "sees" boost so the only way the missing link is the problem is that you installed in upside down if that is possible. Also what car is this turbo on and what all is install with it? Is your car OBDI or OBDII? Give me some more info I can try to help better.
Since you are OBDII hook up the downpipe and see if that helps since there is an O2 sensor downstream in the Cat this is most likely screwing up the car's idle. If this doesn't work check for vacuum leaks in all your new connections
same thing happened to my car its like dat and i dont know why it ildes weird like i have cams and when i give it gas it almsot chokes on me when it goes down to 300 rpms it almost stalls in idle, it mite be my plugs or head gasket i dont know
