Default Missfire at vtec crossover point

Hey guys,

Im getting a misfire when high boost at my vtec crossover point. I just finished a type-r head swap on my gsr. 2 stage boost control 7psi / 14psi. when Im boosting 7psi the car pulls all the way through redline, but when im on 14 the car will missfire/stutter right around vtec point. if i let off the throttle for a sec then get back on it will continue on to redline just like normal.

my first thought was spark blow out, so i gapped down to .023, didnt seem to change anything.

Could it be a possible tuning issue? Im running s300.
IDK, maybe my fuel maps got a nasty hole lol
Anyone else ever experience this?

Did you get it tuned after the head swap?

Ive had spark blow out before

Youre gonna need to data log for this or else you'll be swapping parts

My problem ended up being the key switch

Too much resistance and was dropping voltage under load to 12v

but my AFs have been looking good, my GSR head was ported and was running a type-r style manifold. Im also still running GSR cams.

I wouldn't think it's spark blowout because he said if he lifts for a second it will pull at the way to redline. I agree he needs to data log it when this is happening.

Op what are your afrs wot and when this happens?
