Default Minimum Distance Between cylinders...

On a GE sleeved motor, what do you consider is the minimal amount of distance required between each cylinder to prevent head gasket problems? B18b

Thanks.

Or in other words, how big can you bore your sleeves right?

I'm at 85.5mm right now and its pretty darn thin.

86mm has been done on b series and several that see daily driving and/or boost. 87mm is golden eagles race worthy beasts but they recommend no bigger than 85mm for street cars and the weak at heart.
