I'll take pictures of my motor on Monday so people can get an idea of what O ringing the cylinder sleeves entails. Supposedly it is a better seal than just conventional sleeves to headgasket.

My 84mm block has it's sleeves O-ringed... more so I can sleep better at night than out of necessity.

Someone once told me not to O-ring the block because if something is going to bust, you want it to be the headgasket. lol. (Funk dat)

Looks good.

BTW: What color is that on the block? It's clean.

i've seen that then on 4G63 motors after they've been built. so doing that o-ring on the sleeves is just another form of insurance to stop stuff from leaking ?

Cool, Thanks for replys

Some people say to O-ring the sleeves and some people say its not worth it.

Has anybody had headgasket problem before they getting O-rings?
