Default Minimum Computer for Uberdata

What are the minimum requirements for a cheap-*** ebay laptop I would need for tuning with Uberdata?

You would probably be better off with a crappy one then a new one. My new lappy doesn't have a damned parallel port, just USB. So I have to buy an adapter.

I'd like to buy a cheapy myself for tuning. I've been using my mom's big work laptop for tuning. It a really nice laptop, but it just has too much other **** on it and has all kinds of passwords just to get the damn thing started up...kinda annoying.

My new laptop with XP is much better at tuning than my old one. Just b/c I can see the whole screen... uberdata has a stupid resolution that does not show up very well on my old one... it cuts off the bottom of the screen.

At minimum, it should cost you $800, and be a 66 mhx DX/2... for not asking this on the UD forum.

Serial is overrated, I prefer entirely USB connections for various reasons. 4-port USB 2.0 PCMCIA cards are $5 + ship on eGay, and the USB datalogging cables - even if you can't find the cheap $10 one - cost less and require less assembly than the serial solutions.
