Default Mechanical water temp. gauge

Does anybody have a suggestion on location for the probe? I installed one on my tsi talon(heater hose). Can the same location work for the ITR? What about the hose that goes through throttlebody?

In the TB line is fine, I did the same thing on my car. Used a 1/2" MPT Tee, with 2* 1/2 MPT-> 1/8 barbed hose fittings on either end. I'm assuming you did something similar one your talon. Works great for me.
