Default installing water temp gauge

does anybody know how to hook up a aftermarket water temp gauge on a 04 civic ex. its a ractive and it came with a water temp sensor but i dont know where to hook it up.

I would make a fitting and put it on one of the heater core hoses.

greddy makes an adapter that taps into your upper rad hose. Bling bling though.....$50. You can prolly make the same thing for 10-20 bucks.
