Measurements to build your own ramhorn?

Measurements to build your own ramhorn?
So the title is pretty much self explanatory. Im going to build my own ramhorn manifold for my R and I was wondering if any one had the measurements to build one. Aka, the size of the runners, distance between flanges etc etc. Or can any one point me in the right direction.
Thanks in advanced.

Its best to pick a turbo and build off the location of it in your engine bay. Most use a mock up long block on a stand and start to build! Check out the fab section of honda-tech there are some threads about it!

Thank you for the semi-educated response... I think. How ever, if some one has all the measurements for the manifold, I wont need to use a long block to mock it up. Because I will allready have all the degrees for every thing.

Re: Measurements to build your own ramhorn?
To be honest, I doubt you are going to get the information you seek. For starters anyone that has that all logged/built a jig is into mass production. This information is usually guarded. For those that have built one or a few it's typically a "custom" basis and no two are exactly alike. A lot has to do with Turbo placement, Hood clearance, radiator clearance, ect. Your best bet is to just bite the bullet, and take a weekend to make it all in place. It WILL require multiple fittings before you are done and worst case scenario you put all the current setup back together. Good luck.

Re: Measurements to build your own ramhorn?
there are DIY ram horn kits available with everything needed..
IF you arent careful, you can warp the flange and will need to be decked. So try not to heat it up too much too quickly.

Read through the Welding/Fabrication forum. That'd be the place to ask your question. Also, some company used to sell a weld-your-own ramhorn piping kit...you might be able to find that in one of the sub-categories in Welding/Fab

Re: Measurements to build your own ramhorn?
I dont need a link to buy a DIY Kit. I have all the material, welder, and area to build my own, thats why I was asking if any one had measurements.
Thanks for those, and I did search, just didn't find what I needed.

well it sounds like you have it all figured out... you are being a d!ck to people that arent telling you what to hear, because like stated, what you want is a blueprint of someone else work... big companies arent going to disclose that info and the hobbiest that would, is not going to have a "blueprint"... you are wanting to build a 3D part, therefore you need a 3D drawing... there are so many vaiables that even if i told you how to build one, its not going to contain enough information for you to complete a part based on my instructions...

Re: Measurements to build your own ramhorn?
Its pretty self explanitory, if you have all the bends start welding but you at least need a head to mock it up on, a mock longblock would be preferred though for complete proper fitment. Make small tack welds and minimal tacks so you get correct placement of everything. there isng going to be blueprints for this. The only company that probably has manifolds that are exactly the same every time is Full-Race because its robotically tig welded otherwise every single manifold has some slight veriation reguardless
