i have been in a bunch of cars that have aftermarket turbo kits (including mine). i noticed that almost all of them don't pull as strong as it should in top end. i know that when i used nitrous whatever shot i used my car pulled the same all thoughout the rpm band. one friend i have has a gsr and when he got his tuned he gained 22whp. my question is are there any kits out there that are pretty well tuned with just the kit? all the cars i've been in are rich as hell. these are the cars i've been in.

rsx-s greddy turbo kit
5th gen prelude drag 2 or 3 kit
gsr with a drag 3 kit
civic ex with edlebrock kit
civic si with custom kit

i haven't been in a rev hard car or a f-max car. my friend wants a kit for his accord and he doesn't want to tune it right away because he's broke. he said he want's a good kit off the bat because he's gonna spend all his money on the kit. he won't tune for like another year or so.

Well tuning is all part of turbocharging a car. You think stock turbo cars aren't tuned to specification?

Tuning is the only way you can get the full potential out of a turbo.

Not just Turbo. This applies to every modification other than stock.

Btw, turbo's don't suck...they blow.

if you when as far to build your turbo honda might as well finish it off with a good engine management.

That is un-less you want to buy a new engine and start over of course.

True dat. Yeah, not just engine mods, either...

Is it just me, or do camber kits suck without an alignment?

Actually, i've heard of the metal caps on cheap filters being sucked into impellers....

i have the same problem with my 97' prelude w/drag turbo. it pulls hard from

3rpm till 5.5 and stays all the way. i expect the power to pull all the way to

redline. so basically i feel more power in low rpm and mid but nothing in top rpm

range
