ok so my i have been recommened to get an electronic boost controler....something about how it constantly regulates the boost better and allows the wastegate to open and close with a much higher velocity. So whats a good one that is well not a million dollars?

Something about how they always need to be kicked or adjusted as air temps, pressure, and humidity varies around... usually there's a big difference between night and day, this isn't just seasonally. This is when they even work AT ALL.

I'd like to see a good electronic one, period. The Turbosmart e-Boost2 I played with last week was a flaky pile of poop, and only half the AVC-Rs I touch ever work (and then need the constant jiggling described above).
Stick with a two stage manual boost controller, you'll be much happier. You won't get a bright flashy gay readout that lets people know you are a baller, you'll just get consistent reliable repeatable performance every time you mash the gas.

This is why old men shouldnt be let infront of computers. Stupid operators can make even the best products look bad, as u have demonstrated.
Id recommend any type of ball valve MBC, dont pay over $30 for it though. When u wanna step up, eboost is one of the simplest EBC's ive owned, plug her in, dialup the the boost and the ramp and watch it hold rock solid without any learning or tuning.

Well the deal is, i am going to be at about 400hp. I have about 9k into the motor alone...so i want everything done right. I plan to have it tuned then just not mess with it anymore. THe prob is i am running out of money, so i need something that will last and work for a long time....but something 300$ or less

This old man has owned computers for the last 22 years, currently owns more comuters right now than you have owned in your life, and has an EE. Die, ignorant child.
When the electronic boost controller sits there like a lump and does nothing to the boost level, it is called defective, much like your logical processes.

I love my turbo xs dual stage, its great, and it kicks in like a shot of nos when I flip the high boost switch, jump from 11 psi to 21 psi in hundreths of a millisecond, no delay. I would only get a electronic boost controller if it was free.
I have a txs single stage if anyone interested. (note I am not talking about xs power)
