maxrev bov sucks
I got a maxrev kit everything on the kit is great except the bov there bov's suck it isnt loud the spring has been adjusted all the way too. what should I do for a new one I love the greddy type s but who doesn't. there is 1 problem though my maxrev flange is on my intercooler I need to know what bov I can switch it out with
thanks
thanks
Does it work? If so, then who cares if it's quiet? As long as it works.
People ask me why I didn't spend $250 on a HKS Super Sequential. because my $100 TurboXS bov works just fine!

i am no expert but i think the quieter the BOV, the more effeciently and quickly it releases the charged air and the better it works over a sneezy wheezy chirpy rattly BOV.
I got all this money that I put in to my car and half of the fun is listening to a turbo spool and a bov Im all about power but that is the only other thing that I want. does n e one think that the type s will fit I think that it might if I ttake a dremel to my flanges bolt pattern
My Max rev BOV works great. But if you want to switch( i see no reason not too) you can use a vortech/GReddy/Blitz bov. they all share the same flange. Why did you mount it on the Intercooler?
you guys will slowly start to see many people with bov on the endtanks of the ic it is more efficient there. If you got it real close to your intake manifold like everybody does then think all that air that your bov lets off is cold and dense air. You want to get rid of the warm air before it goes through the intercooler or at the intercooler I hope this made sense... ohh yeah if you put a greddy right there on your ic in your bumper you will be blasting peoples ears. hahaha
