Default MAx torque at 5250

Ok, so you know on dyno graphs, where the max torque is achieved at 5250 or whatever.

and this is a universal thing.

then the torque is multiplied by rpm and you got your hp.

well what if you had such a big turbo, that is spool AFTER 5250. like lets say you got full boost by 7k rpm.

but technically 5250 should be the max torque.

how the hell would that read on the dyno? or how would it affect the numbers?

where your car would actually START making power at 7k?

You got it all wrong. 5252 is where torque and HP meet on a dyno sheet(if the TQ and HP are on the same scale), 5252 has nothing to do with peak torque.
HP = Torque*RPM/5252

we in europ have NM not FTLBS ! so on our dyno you should have the same tq and hp at 7120rpm not 5250

Horsepower is defined as a measure of torque at a certain. Take both on the same scale, and horsepower will meet torque at 5252rpm. I could try and explain this with mathematics, but my numbers are off on certain things.

torque x rpm divided by 5252

No. Max wtq isn't achieved @ 5250, it's just where the hp and tq lines intersect.
