Well im in the process of building my new motor (81.5mm b16) I was just curious as to how much hp i can make on my 550 Rc's. I know they say like 360whp but im trying to make 400whp. Do you think or know if it is possible to make that on 550s with a b8m regulator and walbro 255hp pump?

 

I think I heard of someone making like 390whp on 550's, but I would not attempt it. Sell them and get a bigger set. You might even be able to find someone to trade you.

 

Yeah thats what i was thinking, ive been trying to sell mine for a couple of weeks now but noone has bought them yet.

 

I made 393whp on 94 octane with 550's at 20 psi duty cycle was 94% Yikes!!

 

i have the same exact setup but on an h22 and im shooting for 400whp on 550s... i knwo it can be done, but i think the fp would be too high... im prob only gonna bump up the pressure a little for like 375ish..

 

jsut up the fuel pressure. you should be able to make more than 400whp on them.

 

ive seen 418whp

why work your injectors so hard when you can get bigger ones? theres no one to impress

nothign wrong high fuel pressure... upping the fuel pressure on small injectors is old school technology.

and it still works as of today.
