Max boost on stock LS rods?
Depends on the charger and what kind of tuning you're capable of. I've seen a turbo single cam that made 300hp using LS rods. My stock LS took 9psi for a long while from a T3. It's in the tuning.
I was running 14psi on the stock bottom end. But an accidental boost spike ended the piston lands.
Before she blew I was pushing 272 whp with 11.8:1 a/f ratio.

Here's the buildup:
-wiseco 8.5:1 pistons (ultra-lite race version) .20 over
-Mr. Gasket head, intake manifold and exhaust manifold gaskets
-ARP head studs
The block has been cleaned, decked and bored .20 over. I had all the bearings replaced, the oil pump rebuilt, timing belt and water pump replaced and had the crank cleaned and rebalanced.
My car runs the following setup:
drag gen 3 turbo, deltagate, rc 310cc injectors, walbro 255lph fuel pump. my car is currently set at 14psi.

How long were you boosting at 14psi?

Ive heard as much as 350whp.. but there are always freak motors and freak set ups.. just curious, why did u go with 8.5:1 pistons? are u planning on running high boost on pump gas?
I wouldn't even chance it with the stock rods. You're almost 90% built...why not just wait and get some GE rods or something? With that much money invested already, I would definitely wait for some rods.

Good luck with the build. Who's doing it?
