Default Math check on a AFC hack

I have 310cc injectors and I been running very rich. So rich my math sensor would give me a CEL. I just bumped it down to -15 straight across. Does this sound close? I'm watching my A/F and I always in the rich. btw There is no local dyno in my POS two. Otherwise I would be there, but now I have to make the drive there without screwing up my car.

the larger the negative number the more you lean it out. if u bumped it down to -15 you probably richened and going the wrong direction. lean out until your a/f doesnt read rich all the time.

with 310's i think your should be trimming about -30

We can all review our algebra together... (and my goddamned spelling)

.40/450 = X/310
(.40/450)*310 = X
X = ~.28

So, trim out about -30%...

I didn't think you could run the hack with 310's.

Isn't "the hack" just hooking up the AFC and instaling larger injectors? So esentialy even if your injectors were stock 280 injectors (for example) and you put in 285s and leaned it out just 1or 2% with an AFC then you are running "the hack".

no i believe it is trimming out enough of the MAP voltage that the ecu does not see "boost" .. this is why it will throw a CEL if you try to richen it up too much. With the 310's you need to run a value closer to 0 than -50 and when it boosts I think the ECU will freaking when it sees a MAP voltage out of the range it can handle.

-20?? I think u have it wrong.. Should be around -40 to -30 b/c any less will throw a cel. I think you forgot to set your in/out sensor to 6 instead of 1.
