In the market for sc61.... HELP!
Ok, so im looking to get a precision sc61 t4 with V band. There are so many different A/R and trim and wheel style and such and such. My setup is going a fully built ls vtec
84.5mm endyn piston
pauter rod
rs sleeve
jg IM
rc 1000cc
walbro 255lph
sx fpr
portflow built head (not exactly sure what it has but its all done up)
So my goal is about 400whp on low boost and about 500whp or so on high boost. Its mostly gonna be daily driven so let me know what you guys would recommend. Lets say if i choose a .48 ar ratio then a .63 ar ratio will it effect me that much?

i would think a .48 hotside would run out of breath and be hard to make 500whp. and the sc61 is a t3/t4, not a t4. i love mine to death. it spools nicely and im only running 9psi on a stock b16a while im building my b18 setup.
yeah sounds right, but hell that might be overkill. the sc61 supports 650whp easily. the pt61 is rated 680hp.

i was going to get the Sc61 cause its a beast and i know i can get the power BUT powerband may not be very nice. So im gonna shoot for 470whp with my SC34. Thats gonna be nasty. The only difference i guess would be its gonna take a little more boost to achieve it. all well. Better than only using 500whp for 1000 rpms.
