COMPRESSOR SPECS:T04S housing

.70 A/R housing
60 TRIM wheel
TURBINE SPECS:T3
.63 A/R housing
HIGH FLOW 76 TRIM stg 3 wheel

heres what my setup so far ..

Neukin Ramhorn wit 3inch dp for a/c and p/s
750 rcs
synapse wg 40mm
synapse bov
spooling 2.5 charge pipes
neptune rtp
spearco intercooler
arp studs
stock block and head

lookin for mid spool up around 3800 with full boost at 15-18 psi at 5000rpms im looking for a later spool for better traction I know i wont have too many rpms at high boost but when im at 5k-7k rpms it will pull like a mother f*** thats what im thinkin tell me if im wrong....

think the t3 60-1 .70ar with a 60 trim wheel is a good size turbo for my goals its either this or just a normal t3/t4e 60 trim wit a 63 a/r

I think it's on the bigger end of the spectrum for the power goals you want.

For only 350hp, I'd say get the T3/T4 57 trim. I had the 57 trim on my ls/vtec and was making 375 on 16psi. It would spin second nearer to the redline, but tires helped a lot. I never spun 3rd gear with 375hp. Hell, now with 450hp on the ls transmission I can only spin 3rd if the temps drop below like 65. I'm using G-Force KDW2's and have like 30k miles on them (so they do last)....I'll probably replace them next summer in '09.

The small difference in spooling is not really going to be all that noticeable on the street in terms of spinning. The fun factor of the 57trim far outweights the 60-1 spin factor. Plus since you won't be revving all that high, it'll be better to move the power band further down in the rpm's by using the 57 trim.

That 60-1 turbo on 15-18psi like you said is going to be over 330-350hp. With my ls/vtec and my 60-1, .82a/r I made 450-460 on 17.6psi. I'd venture to guess that you would be lower than 450, but you'd be closer to that than you would be to 350. Then I'd be scared as hell for the health of the stock ls on 400+

your setup has 57 trim written all over it.

i had a 60-1 just like you have on a stock ls. 5psi at around 4000 and 10 psi at 5000. i dont think you would realize 18 psi till the mid 5000 range. it doesnt really match up with the ls trans or camshaft profile.

ive also had a 57 trim on a stock ls, started spooling a shade under 3000rpms and i hit 10 psi solid at 3800. this setup gave me a very broad powerband that accentuates the midrange area, where the ls makes the most tq
