map voltage question
I checked my PRS sensor today on my afc and it reads 3.7 volts at 8.5psi and 4.5 volts at 11-12psi. my question is what am I doing wrong with the hack? the fact I am at 9.5:1 af ratio according to the wideband on the dyno I am thinking the car is in safe mode. should I run a check valve of some kind? at idle my fuel presure is 60psi with a stock regulator and 255lph pump. I ordered the AEM FPR for my car and it should be here in a week. do you guys think that will help the over fueling? the car is leaned 50% almost all the way across the board on wide throttle. AF ratio is ok till vtec cross over then it gets real rich real fast
anything you guys can tell me is helpful

Re: map voltage question (rrei)
my voltage out is MORE than my voltage in, at idle, just to help the idle. I think the problem with being so rich is the 60psi, that's a fair bit more than stock. Also, are the voltages you are referring to, ITR41, the voltage out of the MAP? That voltage does not change with the afc, only the voltage OUT of the AFC to the ECU changes. The voltage the ECU sees should be around 2.8v at full boost ,because after that the ECU throws a code, but it could be a little higher, maybe around 3v and still be alright. If your check engine light is not on, then you are probably not in 'safe mode'
you could disconnect the vac. line from the stock regulator and the pressure will not go above 60psi (it is about 72psi at 12psi of boost so the difference between the inside of the fuel rail and the inside of the engine remains the same)....that might lean it out some for now...

Re: map voltage question (ion_four)
well I have a check engine light on but for a bunch of things one being that the cylinders are gettin way to much fuel and not being able to burn it and an O2 sensor code. I am goin to pull all the codes tomorrow and see what is up with all that. the problem with pullin the vaccum line off the FPR is that my wastegate and profec-b are T'd into that line so wouldn't that make it so my wastegate would never open?
