Default Manual boost controller installating

Hi guys,

a bit of a noob question. I search a bit and everyone seems to say that I should run my line off the compressor on the turbo. To do so is it necessary to drill a hole in the compressor and screw in a fitting?

If yes what is the next best alternitive as I don't want to mess with my almost new turbonetics t3/t04e.

to run a boost controler you need to have the pressure comming from the turbo. so you have to put a nipple on it

so you guys usually yank the turbo off drill and tap the side of the compressor housing, take out all metal chards and bolt it back up?

it's gonna be a pain if I need to take the turbo off lol

drill and tap a barb fitting into your chargepipe. put jb weld on the threads and screw it in. that is the next best option.

Hey Mr. ET, I can help you with that in a couple weeks if you want, I have a bunch of extra fittings and the drill bit and tap that is needed. Pm me if your interested, you only have to pop off the compressor housing to do it, it's super easy.
