Default Manley VS Eagles

K, I'm just kind of wondering. Everyones saying they'll take the manley's over the Eagles and from everything I've seen stats wise the rods are pretty much the same.... both H beams are made of 4340 steel. Both come with (B18C1) 3/8" ARP 2000 bolts? Gram weight of the Eagles are 545 (H Beam), Manley's are 547 (I beams) What makes the Manley's so much better????

tolerances, better quality control, but the main reason they are more is because manley doesnt sell nearly as many rods as eagle does, which makes there prices higher...

Its really simple it comes down the quality that each company has. Not to say that Eagles are bad or anything its just that Manleys are a much better made rod...

they have but that isnt a valid point here, when eagle sells 100x more rods than manley does, you'd expect to hear 100x more failures from eagles over manleys. But i really havent seen to many eagle rods break because of manufacturing, 99% of the time its the builder of the engine...
