well, they are idiotic mainly because i asked them to get me arias replacements and call me in advance to confirm and they bought manley without notifying me. secondly, when going for 600-800 hp you want to make sure you have trustworthy pistons. not saying they aren't,nevertheless, i haven't heard anyone using them besides this guy ^^^^. besides that i heard to avoid them at all costs. so instead of sarcasm why don't you tell me are they GOOOOOOD or BAAAAD. simple as that.noone would put SRP in a high hp turbo car if they heard nothing but negative criticism.

thanks man. i concur even the most savvy person can misinterpret. noone that is sensible would run something in their high hp car that a few con artist morons bought to save a buck. CP ARIAS WISECO OR JE is what i told him and he ordered manley. even if god hand crafted these manley pistons, it is not what i requested. i hope they line up so i can crank these pistons up their rear ends then ill know how they truly perform.

pistons come in 3 types

kinda strong, strong and stupid

that's cast, 4032 and 2618 in other words

all the big names make good pistons, mahle, JE, CP, manley etc. a 2618 manley will perform virtually identical to your arias. both are loose clearanced slap happy nearly indestructible pistons

i have heard a few stories about these pistons melting and similar to srps. i'd rather use a piston im comfortable with.hopefully, more people will test these out so we can find a place for manley's sports compact piston. thanks everyone for the feedback. it was overly helpful.

any piston can melt if the AF or timing is off. if you detonate or go lean. everything has it's limits. what i was saying is everyone uses the same alloys. i'm sure there are stories about every brand ever made. wiseco, je and mahle all have massive exposure in motorsports racing so they tend to be really popular. are they any better than manley? who knows? to my knowledge no one has done a piston stress test with the popular brands...even if they did what's it really mean? if you have an injector drizzle at 30psi something bad will happen

They are good pistons. I have a good friend of mine that use's them on all his Evo builds and all three cars making around 750 and one making over 800 and the one's with 750 are also on spray..... You will be fine.
