Default Manifold problem or gasket prob?

well after like a week or 2 or driving on the new turbo set up , i noticed that from 3-4k in the band it will kinda like feel like a rattling comgin fromt he car and feel wierd. but when i dump on it or pass that rpm range, it will take off nice and smooth
So i look under the hod and notice that on the 1st 2 cyl, (on the dist side) looks like there is black Soot on the head right around the exuast ports, . . . so i can only assume its leaking off some power. you think it should be as easy as just puttng in a new gasket to fix it ? it is the orig copper gasket from honda. but maybe beat from removing headers all the time on my diff set up s? it looked fine before i did the install ?
Im just kinda wigged out becuaser this other dude posted last week that his maxrev was messed up and hope its not my manifold.
I know it prob doens help that my car is runing rich as hell righ tnow too .. .
I dunno what you guys think , prob just the gasket?

I probably woulnd tdrive it...

The possibility to burn exh valves is there if the manifold isnt sesaled to draw heat away from the head.......never know

Check the wastegate gasket!

mine did that, and I though it was the ex mani gasket, but it turned out to be the wastegate gasket.

You wont burn the valves that quickly. I ran into the same problem with the leaking, its most likely your gasket. MR gasket makes an excellent copper gasket with huge raised bumps around each exhaust port that really seals it up. I ran my current engine with the exhaust leak for 6 months and nothing happened to the valves.

Sorry for the cunfusion. I blew my WG gasket, and black 'soot' got all over my head. It sounded fluttery when it got into the higher RPMs, definately an exhaust leak somewhere.

I attributed the black **** on the head from a block ex mani gasket...but in turn, there was a hole in the ring of the WG gasket, causing exhaust to escape and get allll over my head.
