Default Exhaust manifold gasket leak?

Hey I was just wondering how "normal" it is for the exhuast manifold gasket to leak eventually? I just did a headgasket not to long ago and i reused the old exh. mani gasket, it was just like a steel shim- instead of one of those multi-layer steel type ones.

When I started it back up it ran fine, but i hear a hissing from the exhaust side- i think its the exh. manifold gasket. Question is how likely it that it is that the exh. gasket will blow?

thanks for any info! Planning on getting a new exh. gasket from honda but its $30 (b17a1 gasket)so i just wanna make sure i need it....
