Default mandrel custom u bends, really dirty and greasy

i just bought some u bends and they have like small metal shavings all on the inside and alot of grease. obviously im not going to run them like this. so i was thinking ill get them fitted and welded but then how shouild i go about cleaning them? shuld i take them to a machining shop and dip them in a heat tank or something.

i just tied a rope to a rag a swiped it through with some paint thinner and that got out all the grease and metal shavings. you could also put them in a parts cleaning tank and clean them.

brake parts cleaner or throttle body cleaner and spray it throughly inside the pipe.....and run some rags through it to clean that stuff out....
