Default priming process

i'm going to try and get the beast atleast primed this weekend, if not painted. my question is, the guy at omni gave me an epoxy primer and a high build. i would assume the epoxy goes on first to cover the body work, then high build , then sand right? do i need a sealer afterwards, or am i backwwards, and the epoxy goes on last? what about a degreaser? is there a prefered solvent, or would just wiping with a tack cloth suffice? and am i alright to not have my garage totally sealed for the primer? i've read several threads, but i haven't come across anything with these details

garage is fine to paint in as long as its ventilated, but you will prolly get some dust in it. as far as primer im not sure, but i kno u put epoxy on as an adhesion promoter, usually under body work. then high build usually goes over body work if u have minor imperfections, then a sealer.

oh yea wax/grease remover to clean. use a clean towel, put some on the towel, and wipe the panel clean, then tack cloth and paint in ur garage!

epoxy then high build. sand HB with 400 grit for solid colors or 600+ for metallics. use a guide coat to find highs and lows. seal the car with reduced epoxy.

apply wax remover with 1 towel then wipe off with another clean one. dont use used towels. new paper towels work well. then tack off before spraying. you dont need your garage sealed for primer because you will be sanding it completely anyways. seal it for sealer, base, clear. have you done this before?

sealer would also be a good idea after primer is blocked and ready for base.... sealer, base, then clear = quality paint job and easier coverage

dont use simple green as a wax and grease remover. use the ones for automotive paints. the paint shop should have it. its like $6 a quart. use before sanding and before spraying base coat. some cant be used on base coat.
