Default Major Problem (weird circumstances)

Okay, this is my problem. I was getting ready to go to Salt Lake yesterday, and we were already to go. I checked the fluids and saw that I was a little low on oil. So I stopped and got gas, then went to the parts store to get oil. It drove perfect on the way. I bought the oil and put it in and yes I am sure that I bought oil instead of ATF or something else.

On our way to the freeway, the car started burning oil like crazy. Then out of nowhere the car starts missing bad. I couldn't even accelerate hardly it was missing so bad. Well, I get home and realize that the oil part was my fault due to me not pushing the dipstick in all of the way, so it popped out and squirted oil everywhere.

I check the CEL it is throwing three codes. #3, 72, and 71. 3 is the MAP sensor (no missing link). 71 and 72 are cylinder 1 and 2 misfire. Already checked the plugs and the wires. Is it normal for a dizzy to go out like that? Any other suggestions?

TIA

Here is my setup
1998 Civic HX
Garret T3 Turbo
Audi IC and BOV
Vortech FMU
NGK BKR7E plugs (2 step colder)
Aftermarket wires

Sounds like Turbo seals... began to pump oil into intake- check charge pipe for oil. The misfire and MAP are a result of oil in intake.

do you see wet oil contamination on any of the plugs? If so, there is your problem.

Pumping oil into the intake sounds good....but only two cylinders misfiring? Only way to tell is pull the charge pipe out then.

I will check the charge pipe today. I know that the turbo has been leaking a little bit of oil, I have found it in my ic piping. But it is just slight residue. The plugs are black, so I am running rich, but there is no wet oil on them. I will let you guys know what I find.

well, stick the dipstick back, fill up the oil to the proper level, change out to new plugs. Drive it again see if it still does it. If it does, immediately pull out the plugs and see what's on it. Then check oil level. Also while driving, see if there is any unusual smoke coming out of the exhaust system. Report back and tell us what happens.

Okay, this is what I did, checked the compression it was 130,110,130,120. The car has over 100k on it and has had nitrous on it as well. So I know that it is low, but the car has had some tough times. Checked the gap on the plugs, they were fine. I reset my ECU. Then started it up. It ran fine, so I don't know what exactly happened, but letting it sit for a few days helped. I still burn oil under boost and even not under boost. But it may be due to the oil squirting all over under the hood. Thanks everyone for your help.
