Default made the bov switch :)

With the help and guidance of steve i ended up switching my apexi bov with a greddy type s today.

we had to weld a new adapter flange onto the existing one, but i'm very pleased with the results.

the apexi was hella nice and stealth....but i'm only gonna keep this car for maybe another year or two so i decided i wanted to have a bov that made me smile more every time.

i'm really pleased with the sound and have a count of two campus cops that i passed by and scared the **** out of them..hehe.

I have the type-s as well, but I'm not as happy with mine... I can't make it stop fluttering, no matter how loose i set it, and when I let off the throttle when I'm not under boost, it makes a low whistle noise...

Does yours do this?

it does that low whistle noise sometimes...but i dont' have a gasket installed on it yet so that might be it...

as for the flutter i don't get that unless i'm like barely applying throttle...but that's no biggie.

as for the apexi...i'm gonna sell it soon, its still brand new lookin so if you're interested pm me.

A big whooosh sound, quick and quiet. You cant hear them till around 12psi or more of boost. The tial is the best on the market, hands down.

Yea i heard the tial bov is badass and doesnt need adjusting for high and low boost like every other BOV on the market.

Well i like to for a number of reasons:

1. Its relatively quiet. Stealth mode.
2. It can handle any psi range, there isnt any upgrading of springs needed as with the other bov's on the market.
3. The quality is leagues above others on the market.
4. It comes with a v-band style clamp for attachment.

Anyone heard of the GFB Stealth FX bov?

It fully adjustable from plumb-back to wide open venting, meant to be awesome
