HKS Blow off/Compressor Surge
i have a hks super sequentila blow offf vavle on a turbo gsr and ive adjusted the back in every way loose or tight and i was wondering wut that is it mkes this pigion type noise and its sscarin me

Sounds normal. At low boost it should flutter like Hannibal talking about fava(sp) beans. At higher or more sustained boost it will chirp real sharp.

Anything higher than 5-6 or so psi is very high pitched. In a tunnel, it's almost deafening.

That fluttering noise you hear is normal for the hks bov. Thats the noise the hks bov makes! There is nothing wrong with it. I guess most people hear a greddy bov and then think all bovs should have that same noise.

to this day, I still can't make up my mind of whether to go for a Blitz DD Supersound or an HKS SQV bov.. blitz has the nice bus brakes sound and the HKS sounds nice and "different". I've heard the HKS on my friend's R34 Skyline, and its nice, but he has two of them in his car, so I was thinking one in my car might not be all that noticable.. what should i get people? its kinda 50/50 with me right now..
